Foliage large, deep green turning deep orange, bronze and red in Autumn. Holds leaf longer than other varieties. Broadly pyramidal shape. Growth rate moderate.

Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Hardy once established.

Cut-Leaf Plane Tree: large, ornamental deciduous tree, plant for shade

Height up to 20m x Width 12m

Foliage shiny, dark green turning gold and brown in Autumn. Produces large bristly 'seed-balls' in Summer. Spreading shape. Growth rate moderate.

Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Hardy and will tolerate frost and pollution.

Platanus Vallis Clausa

Vallis Clausa: medium to large, deciduous ornamental, plant for colour and shade

Height up to 16m x Width 11m

Foliage dark green turning traditional Autumn shades. Produces round, hairy fruit from Autumn. Upright, spreading shape. Growth rate moderate to fast.

Prefers full sun and well draining soil. Disease resistant.

London Plane: medium, deciduous ornamental, plant as a feature and for shade

Height up to 14m x Width 10m

Foliage mid-green that loosely resembles the Acer shape, turns yellow and bronze in Autumn. Produces bristly fruit from Autumn. Pyramidal when young, becoming rounded and open as it matures. Growth rate moderate.

Prefers full sun and adapts to most soil types. Tolerates pollution.
